Oh my goodness. I get it now. I thought I got it before but I hadn't. Not until this week. We demoed some 4Frnt skis, I used the Hoji women's 179, which is way longer than I normally ski but with them being fully rockered it feels much shorter. Anyway as I said they are fully rockered and the edges are what they call ReflectTech so the edge is the same curve as the rocker. We went up this last week in spring conditions but at just the right time, the sun had warmed the snow perfectly. It was like butter. No new snow but softened and still fun. Even with the rocker they still felt a little long for me, however, I could probably get used to that quickly with a day or more so on these skis. But can I just say I loved them. They were incredible. I had so much fun skiing them. My husband probably got so sick of me saying how much I loved turning in them. I did. I loved turning in them, even in the soft but groomed snow. Was it the rocker? Yes was it added to by 4Frnt's ReflectTech? Probably. They were smooth and sweet. I hope I get the chance to try them in powder. In short I now need a pair.
